David Hoppe-Cruz is a lifelong resident of Makaha and a graduate of Waianae High School. A recent graduate of UHWO with a BA in Hawaiian and Pacific Studies, David credits being exposed to nature and science in high school and his love of outdoors for sparking his passion for aloha ‘aina. David is now on a quest to protect and preserve the Wai’anae Range through his work.
