College students gain real-world experience through KOIP

Working in the field at Keauhou Bird Conservation Center was life changing for participants in KS’ Kāpili ʻOihana Internship Program. The program is ramping up for its 12th summer of providing Native Hawaiian college students with opportunities to apply academic experience in a real-world setting by working with community organizations to increase students’ hiring potential upon graduation.
