A few weeks ago, KS and other like-minded organizations conducted a social media experiment asking Facebook followers the question: “Who are our next-generation kanaka leaders?” This video captures their answers. Mahalo to Kanaeokana, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Hawaii Business magazine, ‘Ōiwi TV, the Hōkūle‘a crew and everyone else who contributed to the conversation.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
