Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.

Over 250 alumni came together to celebrate Pauahi’s legacy through mele at the inaugural Alumni Concert held on Sept. 26 at the Artistry in Honolulu. Focused on the theme of “Swell the Echo of our Song,” the event featured a star-studded line-up of alumni musicians, including Robert Cazimero, Ei Nei, Keauhou, and a special appearance by the Mākaha Sons of Ni‘ihau.
