Workplace Giving Campaign 2013

November 8, 2013

In a collective act of compassion, Kamehameha Schools staffers raised over $159,976.29 for our Workplace Giving Campaign, surpassing this year’s fundraising goal by $44,786.29!

The total amount raised includes $57,239.37 pledged to Aloha United Way, $94,712.29 to Ke Ali`i Pauahi Foundation and $8,024.63 to the Hawaiian Way Fund as well as $9,641.29 raised by campuses and Kawaiaha`o Plaza staffers selling everything from jeans passes to poke bowls.

The acts of giving captured the spirit of KS’ new annual campaign theme: He Makana Ke Aloha – Love and Compassion are Special Gifts. Get a glimpse at the generosity in action in the photos below.

If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to miyoung@ksbe.edu.
