Unforgettable moments from the 23rd Kauikeaouli Festival

April 3, 2024

The three-day celebration honoring Kamehameha III connected kānaka to ʻāina beloved by our aliʻi. From the daytime mākeke shopping to the nighttime grooves, Keauhou Bay was a kaleidoscope of culture as participants were immersed in hula, mele and enlightening conversations centering Hawaiʻi Island’s most treasured resources. The festival was a fitting tribute to Kauikeaouli, reminding us to preserve and honor our traditions.
