Uluniuopi‘opi‘o, the Kamehameha Schools East Hawai‘i Regional Office, recently had an office holiday pot-luck gathering where staff played games, sang Christmas carols in ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i and shared fellowship with one another.
A big part of the festivities included the second annual door-decorating contest, where each smaller office group decorated their door according to this year’s theme, Christmas movies. The rules were that you couldn’t use the main characters from the movie and that you couldn’t use words from the title, while trying to have participants guess the movie. The door with the most correct guesses won the perpetual trophy, while another award was given for “most creative.”
