Trustee Michelle Kaʻuhane investiture ceremony

Kamehameha Schools honored newly appointed trustee Michelle Kaʻuhane at a recent investiture ceremony at Bishop Memorial Chapel at the Kapālama campus. Kaʻuhane was selected by the State Probate Court to replace former trustee Lance Keawe Wilhelm and began her term on July 1, 2023.

Kaʻuhane’s professional career includes over 15 years of executive leadership experience in public and non-profit administration. She is Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer for Hawai‘i Community Foundation, and a White House appointee to the Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.

Lauded as a facilitator and a bridge for Native Hawaiian communities, Kaʻuhane is a KS Kapālama alumna and resides with her ‘ohana in the Hawaiian Homestead of Kaupe‘a.
