King Kamehameha Floral Parade

Kamehameha I, the warrior king who united the Hawaiian islands was honored at the 98th annual King Kamehameha Floral Parade. The parade started in front of ʻIolani Palace and finished at Kapiʻolani Park in Waikīkī. This year's theme was “Nā Kahu o Nā Mea Makamae – 125 Years of the Bishop Museum.”

The parade included marching bands, floats, decorated vehicles and horse units with riders wearing period costumes. Kamehameha Schools was represented by the KS Kapālama Warrior Marching Band and high school cheerleading squad.
