The 97th Annual Kamehameha Schools Song Contest paid tribute to Hawaiian music composer Bina Mossman, a Renaissance woman and a role model for future generations of young Hawaiian leaders. Mossman perpetuated the Hawaiian culture through her compositions and the performances of her Girls Glee Club. She also served the community through her activities in the Republican Party where she advocated strongly for the rights of women and children.
