More than 12,000 KS alumni, staffers, parents and community members attended the recent Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Hoʻolauleʻa. The annual event celebrated its 91st anniversary on the sunny day, and attendees enjoyed a full day of entertainment, ono food, shopping, keiki rides and games.
The event is sponsored by the KS Association of Teachers and Parents with support from the KS Parent/Alumni Relations Department. The funds raised by the event support enrichment grants which pay for student activities, supplies, and travel expenses. This year’s event raised more than $200,000.
The Parent/Alumni Relations team extends a heartfelt “mahalo nui loa” to the more than 2000 volunteers who helped make this year’s Hoʻolauleʻa a success!
KS photographer Michael Young was on hand to capture the highlights of the event.
