Local meats, fruits and veggies topped the menu at the 18th Annual Mealani’s Taste of the Hawaiian Range and Agricultural Festival, a premiere agriculture-tourism event held recently at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.
Over 2,000 culinary adventure seekers grazed among food booths at the fest which promotes the support of sustainable locally produced products.
As a sponsor of the event, Kamehameha Schools partnered with some of its agricultural producers and tenants to highlight its Strategic Agricultural Plan, farm-to-table initiatives and support of the grass-fed beef industry.
