April 18, 2013
Nearly 450 Kamehameha Schools staffers have generously shared their time and valuable mana‘o (input) at strategic planning forums that began on April 1. Information gathered from KS employees and community stakeholders will be used to help develop the education, endowment and operational goals of the KS 2015-2030 Strategic Plan.
Following are some photos from the recent Kawaiaha‘o Plaza, KS Maui and KS Kapālama forums. (Read about the KS Maui forum in a write-up by student Landon Ballesteros for the campus’ news site “Ka Leo O Nā Koa.”)
Two more employee sessions are coming up: April 24 – KS Kapālama, and May 13 – KS Hawai‘i. Sessions are still in the works for Leeward O‘ahu, Kona, Kaua‘i and Moloka‘i. Another round of meetings will be scheduled for the fall for the KS Strategic Plan 2030 Planning Team to share back some of the themes that emerged during current discussions.
Visit the KS Progress and Promise website for the latest on the strategic plan and to RSVP for upcoming employee forums.
If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to KS photographer Michael Young at miyoung@ksbe.edu.
