The magical sounds and dance of Polynesia were on display for a live national audience last week as a contingency of over 150 KS Kapālama haumāna and kumu helped to put on a wildly entertaining halftime show at the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame’s 2023 Polynesian Bowl at Kūnuiākea Stadium. In addition to performances by the KSK ‘ohana, the almost 12-minute presentation also featured a local Tahitian troupe and ended with a flash-mob style dance by all performers to the musical group Kapena's iconic song, “Masese”.
