The message to student drivers was to give yourself enough time in the morning so you don't speed to get to school on time. The Maui Police department wanted to get the word out to students that loosing their driver's license can be one of the consequences of speeding. As serious as loosing one's license is though, the more serious result of speeding can be getting into an accident and someone being injured or dying.
