Kamehameha Publishing, the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation and UH’s Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law recently celebrated the launch of the new book, “Native Hawaiian Law: A Treatise” at historic Aliʻiolani Hale, home of the Hawaiʻi State Supreme Court.

The long-awaited publication is the definitive resource for understanding critical legal issues affecting Native Hawaiians. A second launch event, open to the public, is slated for Tuesday October 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Kamehameha Publishing supports Kamehameha Schools’ mission by publishing and distributing Hawaiian language, culture, and community-based materials that engage learners as well as reinforce, and invigorate Hawaiian cultural vitality.
