Mō‘ili‘ili Summer Fest

July 8, 2013

Over 8,000 islanders of all ages turned out for the KS-sponsored Mō‘ili‘ili Summer Fest on Saturday, July 6 at the Varsity Office Building. The second annual Japanese cultural festival featured bon dancing, more than 20 food trucks and vendors, 17 specialty retailers, keiki activities and entertainment.

Mō‘ili‘ili is among the major urban redevelopment areas in KS’ commercial properties portfolio. The Summer Fest site sits on Kamehameha Schools land. Hats off to KS photographer Michael Young who braved the crowds at the event to take the following photos.

If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to KS photographer Michael Young at miyoung@ksbe.edu.
