Maui Turns Pink for Pauahi

November 3, 2022

Pauahi Week on the Maui campus culminated with a traditional Walk for Pauahi, but with a color-run twist. In honor of our beloved founder Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Bishop's courageous battle with breast cancer, haumāna raced through stations of kumu and staff dousing them in colorful powder. All this in the spirit of haumāna and staff raising awareness and funds for Pauahi Foundation. Gifts made during Pauahi Week go toward creating educational opportunities for native Hawaiians.
