Looking back and looking forward: Honolulu Night Market and Mōʻiliʻili Summer Fest

June 27, 2023

More than 20 thousand people attended the Honolulu Night Market: Mahina Māhealani earlier this month on ‘Āina Pauahi at Our Kakaʻako. The event covered three city blocks and featured ʻono mea ʻai, live music, a fashion show and moongazing.

On the heels of this big success comes another major event this weekend on ʻĀina Pauahi. On Saturday, July 1, the former Varsity Theater parking lot will be the site of the Mōʻiliʻili Summer Fest which features Honolulu’s largest bon dance and a modern street festival. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is a free and family-friendly community event.
