Lei Day Aloha Celebrates Tradition at SALT at Our Kakaʻako

In celebration of May Day, Our Kakaʻako hosted a Lei Day Aloha celebration at The Barn in which attendees, both kamaʻāina and malihini, had the opportunity to enjoy various Hawaiian entertainment and activities. The free event featured live musical and hula performances by Kaniela Nakashima and Halau Hula mai ka Puʻuwai a ka Manaʻo under the guidance of Kumu Hula Pam Divine. A lei making station was available to all, where fresh blossoms were provided to create lei wristlets. Additionally, attendees had the chance to spin the Prize Wheel for a chance to win prizes from SALT at Our Kaka‘ako merchants.
