Our young ʻōiwi leaders at Kamehameha Schools Maui stepped into their heritage at a ball celebrating Hawaiian monarchy. Through music, dance, and ceremony, haumāna brought their kingdom studies to life in this special collaboration between homeroom kumu and waihona puke — transforming classroom lessons into a adorable celebration of culture and kuleana.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
