Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.

Under the direction of our Post High Counselor, Lisa Correa, fourteen KS Maui Alumni came back to participate in the first, of hopefully many, Alumni College Fairs. Nā Haumāna loved hearing the true “down and dirty” insights and experiences of college life from their peers to better prepare them for the world outside of KS while faculty and staff enjoyed seeing the fruits of their labor. Alumni expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to give back to their community while helping to shape the minds of the younger generations. Unanimously, everyone felt it was a very positive and beneficial event for all involved.
