KSH haumāna apply math skills at Marine Science Center

October 29, 2020

Ma ka hana ka ʻike. Knowledge is gained by doing. KS Hawaiʻi haumāna participated in their first official in-person huakaʻi (fieldtrip) of the year! As part of KS' hybrid learning, a small group of sixth grade haumāna visited the Kumuola Marine Science Center on ʻĀina Pauahi in Honohononui, where they used their math skills to calculate things like the fish population in the loko iʻa (fishpond).
