Kamehameha Schools Maui held its 10th Annual Hoʻolauleʻa recently at the high school campus, and with the sun shining, it was a perfect day to be outside!
Students and parents from grades K-12 participate in the annual hoʻolauleʻa either beforehand or during the event.
The event featured food, entertainment and cultural activities. Visitors learned about Hawaiian culture from Hawaiian language students who demonstrated activities such as pounding kalo into poi, kapa making and Hawaiian tattoo printing.
KS Maui student Maile Sur captured the fun in the following photos. To read more about the event, see Sur’s story on KSOnline. If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to ksonline@ksbe.edu.
