Kamehameha Schools Maui hosted its 11th Annual Service Awards on July 31. The event, themed “Ka ʻUmeke Naʻauao O Paiʻea – Paiʻea’s Calabash of Wisdom,” honored the dedicated service of 42 staffers from Maui’s campus, preschool and community programs.
The service awards ceremony was emceed by the Hawaiian Protocol Facilitaor Ekela Kaniaupiʻo-Crozier and Hawaiian Resource Coordinator Kalani Pea. The celebration was followed by launa, lunch and entertainment at Keeaumokupāpa’iaheahe Dining Hall, hosted by Head of School Lee Ann DeLima.
