A school year devoted to fitness training recently culminated in a final test for Kapālama campus freshmen and sophomores.
Freshmen had a choice between running 10 kilometers or swimming 3 kilometers. Sophomores tackled a biathlon consisting of an 800-meter swim followed by a 4-mile run.
The PE event took place under sunny skies at Ala Moana Beach Park with dozens of ʻohana and teachers on hand to cheer on the students as they pushed themselves to complete the course.
