In a wonderful display of aloha ʻāina, third graders from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama tackled invasive algae during a recent huakaʻi to Maunalua Bay in East Oʻahu. The non-profit Mālama Maunalua hosted the huki event, which saw our haumāna collect over 1600 pounds of the invasive algae. I mua!
