The Kamehameha Schools Kapālama campus celebrated its Homecoming Week from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3, culminating with the homecoming football game verses. ‘Iolani on Friday, Oct. 3, at Kūnuiākea Stadium. The Warriors beat the Raider 42-28, while homecoming festivities took place before the game and at halftime.
Earlier in the week, the elementary school held a pep rally with high school cheerleaders helping the young haumāna to show their school spirit. On game day, the high school had their pep rally, while the Pauahi Foundation had a tailgate for alumni.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
