More than 1,300 Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi faculty, staff members and students raised their voices in song and praise at their annual Founder’s Day celebration at Koaiʻa Gymnasium. The December 19 event honored the life and legacy of Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
After the celebration, staffers moseyed on over to Hāʻaeamahi Dining Hall for a Founder’s Day Paniolo Pāʻina. The cowboy-themed event featured line dancing and lots of ʻono food!
Mahalo to KSH Middle School computer lab kumu Kerry Kamisato for sharing his Founder’s Day photos with KS Online and to Operations clerk Iwalani Kaili for sharing her pāʻina pix. Heartfelt thanks also go out to Headmaster’s Office administrative coordinator Danielle Iuta and senior administrative assistant Carol Martin for helping with the captions. View more photos in the KSH photo gallery.
If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to miyoung@ksbe.edu.
