August 27, 2013
Kawaiahaʻo Plaza staffers celebrated the dedicated service of their colleagues with mele, hula and mea‘ai at an August 23 service awards shindig. KP’s 122 service awardees represent a combined 1,085 years of service to Pauahi’s legacy.
About 40 of this year’s honorees celebrated their first five years with Kamehameha Schools. One of them – Endowment central files supervisor Sharon Tamane – devoted 40 years of her life to KS’ educational mission!
KS photographer Michael Young was on hand to capture the highlights of the event. Read more about the KP service awards event in the KSOnline story "KP celebration tops off KS service awards season."
