Kawaiaha‘o Plaza Founder's Day

December 21, 2012

The Kamehameha Schools ‘ohana lifted its voices in prayer and song December 19 in celebration of the extraordinary vision and generosity of founder Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Bishop. The statewide events were the culmination of KS’ year-long 125th anniversary commemoration themed “Ho‘ōla Lāhui, Ho‘oulu Pae ‘Āina – Vibrant People, Thriving Lands.” Below is a glimpse at the Founder’s Day service held for Kamehameha Schools staff at Kawaiaha‘o Church where Princess Pauahi herself once worshiped.
