The Kamehameha Schools Kapālama summer school program has something for everyone, whether it’s academic, cultural or recreational. The program welcomes students from elementary through high school from across the island.
Haumāna (students) can take classes for a half day or even a full day if they want to participate in the program’s Performing Arts Academy or Sports Academy in the afternoon.
Approximately 2,800 students take part in over 200 course offerings. KS photographer Michael Young captured a sampling of what’s happening at the Kapālama campus through July 17.
