Kamehameha Schools Maui’s 17th Annual ‘Aha Mele

More than 1,500 people came together in celebration of the 17th Annual Kamehameha Schools Maui High School ‘Aha Mele on May 3. The senior class swept all class awards while the nā wāhine took the kāne/wāhine group award.  This year’s theme, Ka Haku Mele,” celebrated Hawaiian music composers who have received the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Haku Mele award for Best Hawaiian Song Composition in this century.
