KS Maui Service Awards 2014

Kamehameha Schools Maui celebrated the campus’ 10th Annual Service Awards on August 1. The event, themed "Ka ʻUmeke Naʻauao O Paiʻea – Paiʻea’s Calabash of Wisdom," honored 35 awardees, including 25-year KS employee Blane Gaison. There were also four staff memberst who celebrated 20 years of service, three staff members who celebrated 15 years, 23 who celebrated 10 years and four who celebrated five years.

The service awards ceremony was emceed by the Hawaiian Protocol Facilitaor Ekela Kaniaupiʻo-Crozier and was followed by a luncheon hosted by Head of School Lee Ann DeLima. Lunchtime entertainment was provided by KSM Staff Serenaders Kanani Franco, Kalei Aarona-Lorenzo, Dale Nitta, Mamo Nitta, Clark Tuitele, Dane Fujiwara, Kamuela Binkie and hula dancer Henohea Kane.
