Capping off a series of outstanding performances, the haumāna of papa ʻelima recently performed their final show for the most important audience of all...their ʻohana! The fifth-grade play is always a crowd favorite, and this year's show, themed "Ola i ka wai," did not disappoint. Lessons in Hawaiian history, science, ʻāina, social justice, and kuleana were presented through the framework of wai and its importance to our lāhui.
Mahalo e ka papa ʻelima. Ola i ka wai!
