I Mua Week 2016 at KS Hawaiʻi

October 14, 2016

An annual tradition at KS Hawaiʻi, I Mua Week is five straight days of celebration, with each day organized around a theme with students encouraged to dress-up and participate in the daily activity. Over the years, I Mua Week helps to build the school culture and provide an occasion for students to create memories that they will remember and cherish for years beyond their graduation. The week kicks off with an assembly and culminates with the football game. This year's themes included Mauka 2 Makai, Disney characters and Athletes & Mathletes. On Friday, students dressed in blue and white on 'Proud to be a Warrior' day and held a K-12 Pep Rally before the JV and Varsity Football game that night versus Kealakehe. Alumni are also invited to return where and when they can throughout the week to join in the celebration.

Mahalo to Bill Makaimoku and Cindy Debus for photos from the week.
