Honolulu Night Market Nov. 2022

Honolulu Night Market returned to Our Kakaʻako and kicked off the holiday season with food, fashion, family activities, shopping and more. The event’s theme, “Rooted,” highlighted the importance of supporting Hawai‘i’s food system, celebrating cultural diversity grounded in the values of our heritage, traditions, and placekeeping. The night market featured cultural practitioners including those from the Poi for the People initiative who provided educational demonstrations and samples of pa‘i ‘ai (undiluted poi) to showcase this indigenous food systems product.More than 50 local food and retail vendors provided attendeeds with a wide selection of island cuisine and crafts alongside a fun lineup of live entertainment and activities.
