Hawaiian language immersion school keiki say “mahalo” to KS

July 11, 2019

Staffers at KS’ Kawaiahaʻo Plaza headquarters received a heartfelt reminder of how their work contributes to KS’ educational mission when Hawaiian language immersion summer school keiki dropped by to mahalo Kamehameha Schools for nearly 30 years of support. The “Lā Mahalo Kula Kauwela” coordinated by KS’ Kealaiwikuamo‘o team welcomed five kula, 210 haumāna, 20 kumu and their po‘o.
