Haleʻiwa Preschool Blessing

September 16, 2014

In a collective effort with the Haleʻiwa Jodo Mission and Oʻahu’s North Shore community, Kamehameha Schools was able to keep the doors open of its Haleʻiwa Preschool after structural damage was discovered and ultimately repaired earlier this year. The preschool serves 3- and 4- year-old keiki from Mililani, Waialua, Haleʻiwa and Wahiawā.

KS operates 30 preschools statewide. Last fiscal year the preschools served 1,500 keiki and their families. KS also awarded $11.4 in scholarships to more than 2,270  preschoolers to enable them to attend other accredited preschools in their communities.
