First Nations’ Futures Program 2014

November 10, 2014

The First Nations' Futures Program recently held its annual First Nations' Futures Institute at Stanford University. The institute is designed to delve into each fellow's values and beliefs and to equip them with additional academic tools they can use in service to their communities.

Fellows from Hawai‘i are joined by counterparts from the program's other sponsors in Alaska and Aotearoa for a two-week, intensive series of presentations around communications, alternative energy, food, water, cultural identity and many other important issues facing indigenous communities.

See highlights from the first week of the institute at Stanford's Woods Institute for the Environment.
