Discover Preschool Day benefits Waiʻanae Coast families

January 13, 2016

More than 300 Waiʻanae Coast keiki and their ‘ohana attended the third annual Discover Preschool Day at Kamehameha Schools’ Community Learning Center at Māʻili. The January 9 event connected families with the resources they need to make preschool affordable and accessible. Parents and caregivers received one-on-one help filling out preschool applications and had the opportunity to attend financial aid workshops. Sixteen early learning programs on the Wai‘anae Coast took part in the early learning event.

KS photographer Michael Young was on hand to capture highlights of the morning event.
