Charles Reed Bishop Founder's Day

On January 25 Kamehameha Schools Kapālama's elementary and middle school students celebrated the birthday of Charles Reed Bishop, who co-founded Kamehameha Schools along with his wife Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop. Former KS teacher Dr. Keiki Wawai'ae'a was the guest speaker at the elementary school program and KS trustee Janeen-Ann Olds spoke at the middle school's campus program and at Mauna 'Ala, the royal mausoleum, where representatives from all the institutions that benefited from Mr. Bishop's generosity were in attendence to honor him.
