Whether it was the last first day, the first first day, or somewhere in between, it was heartwarming to see Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha Hawaiʻi haumāna and kumu back on campus! From pilina-building activities to singing mele aloha ʻāina in celebration of Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea, the first day of school at the Keaʻau campus was filled with connection, pride and excitement for the year ahead.
Kamehameha Schools’ policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
