Art and ʻāina come together for this Kapālama class

April 22, 2025

Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha Kapālama middle schoolers ventured to Punaluʻu to experience the art of carving pōhaku kuʻi aʻi. Embracing ʻāina and culture, these haumāna gathered stones to craft pounders, deepening their connection to the ahupuaʻa and their Hawaiian identity.
