Around Our Kakaʻako

January 21, 2015

Folks roamed the streets of Our Kaka’ako last Saturday for the monthly Honolulu Night Market, featuring family-friendly attractions and ‘ono meaʻai from multiple food trucks. Art, fashion and music are the hallmarks of the neighborhood event sponsored by Kamehameha Schools on its Kaka‘ako land, and truly brings to life the “Live, Work, Play” vision for the area.

The next Honolulu Night Market is slated for Valentine's Day, February 14 and will feature a Pow Wow Hawai‘i block party. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and free parking is available at the 555 South St. parking lot.

Kamehameha Schools photographer Michael Young was on hand to capture the highlights of the evening event.
