Around Our Kaka‘ako

May 9, 2013

Kamehameha Schools is transforming Honolulu’s Kaka‘ako area from an industrial zone to an urban-island neighborhood affectionately called Our Kaka‘ako. The area is a progressive catalyst for innovation and the epicenter of vibrant urban-island culture within a beautiful, healthy and sustainable neighborhood.

The photos below capture the character of Kaka‘ako. Take part in the revitalization of this special place. Watch it change. Watch it evolve. Watch it develop into Hawai‘i’s most unique and talked about neighborhood. Our Kaka‘ako is your Kaka‘ako. Read about the newly-opened Kaka‘ako Info Center on KSOnline.

If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to Michael Young at miyoung@ksbe.edu.
