Charles Reed Bishop – husband of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop and the driving force in creating Kamehameha Schools – lived by a simple philosophy: “What a man really is and what his life shows month after month and year after year, is more important than what he says he believes.”
The Kamehameha Schools ‘ohana recently celebrated Bishop’s birthday and his lifetime of selfless giving in ceremonies across the state.
