CEO Aloha Pāʻina

April 1, 2014

Hundreds of Kawaiahaʻo Plaza employees and friends filled Kekūhaupiʻo Gym at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama last Friday to bid aloha to retiring chief executive officer Dee Jay Mailer. During her decade of service, she led the organization through triumphant and turbulent times with wisdom and compassion.

The retirement party was filled with laughter, tears, music, hula, gifts and a proclamation from Gov. Neil Abercrombie declaring March 28, 2014 to be Dee Jay Mailer Day.

KS photographer Michael Young captured the celebration in the photos below. If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to ksonline@ksbe.edu.
