74th Annual Aloha Festivals Floral Parade

September 28, 2022

After nearly three years, the Aloha Festivals Floral Parade made its triumphant return with a colorful procession of pāʻū riders, floral-decorated floats and performances honoring this year’s theme, “Aloha ‘Āina, Love of the Land.” The KS Kapālama campus ‘ohana had a substantial presence in the parade with haumāna, kumu, administrators, and parent volunteers marching down Kalākaua Avenue joining the chorus of aloha ʻāina cheers that rang throughout Waikīkī. The campus contingent of over 400 was recognized as the Ambassadors of Aloha for the entire parade and the float named “No Ka Poʻe i Aloha i Ka ‘Āina,” which honored our aliʻi and other cultural icons, was the recipient of the the Mayor’s Award.
