2017 Kamehameha Day Floral Parade

June 14, 2017

Kamehameha Schools recently participated in the traditional events celebrating it’s namesake, Kamehameha I. KS staff created a beautiful lei for the Kamehameha statue and joined other organizations in the lei draping ceremony on Friday afternoon, June 9. The next day the Warrior Marching Band, Kapalama Campus Cheerleaders, and Ho’omaka’ika’i 50th Anniversary celebrants joined the colorful Kamehameha Floral Parade from Iolani Palace to Kapiolani Park
